What could be better than homemade soup and homemade lockdown bread for lunch.
Here are the recipes
One pumpkin peeled and sliced
Two cloves of garlic
Six garden carrots
Two sliced leeks
Two teaspoons grated fresh ginger
One carton vegetable stock
One carton water
One teaspoon olive oil.
Place oil in a pot add garlic and ginger cook for one minute .
Peel and chop other ingredients and add to pot. Add stock and water and cook until vegetables are soft. Blend until smooth. Delicious.
In a'warmed jug place two cups of warm water
One tablespoon honey
Two teaspoons dried yeast.
Leave in a warm place u till liquid comes to the top of the jug.
In another warmed bowl add six cups of wholemeal flour and a teaspoon of salt.
Once the yeast and water has frothed up about 30 minutes mix it into the flour
Kneed for one minute until blended.
Place in oiled tin and bake for 40 minutes air 180c
A big favourite in our house and no additives or plastic bags.
You can add fresh chopped herbs or chopped walnuts or seeds. Yummy
