Just picked all my basil which I made into delicious tomato and red pepper sauce using the tomatoes, peppers and basil grown in my garden as well as pesto sauce which I froze.
Here are two recipes which I hope that you enjoy.
Tomato and basil sauce
Chop up 12 tomatoes
Add two peppers chopped.
One onion chopped
two cloves of garlic
a splash of olive oil.
one teaspoon of herb yeast salt (available at my clinic)
Place in a pot on the stove and cook stirring until all vegetables are cooked.
Place in a blender and blend for one minute.
Place in containers and freeze for the winter. Delicious.
